Anger Management Worksheets are booklets that incorporate exercises to help with rage management. They are an built-in part of a course of study or counseling program.

Also the equal of these worksheets can often be discovered in books on Rage, such as Beating Anger: The Eight-point Plan for Coping with Rage by Mike Fisher. This is a publication I have acquired and highly recommend for a simple to-the-point introduction and solution to rage. There are succinct exercises at the final stage of each part that you can photocopy and blow up to purpose as a written account.

Hither are a few online sheets you may find useful:

* CounselingWorksheets.com put up gratuitous and paid for worksheets. We hold an illustration of their fury management worksheet for you to analyse and print for free.

* Defoore.com provides a downloadable sound course on fury management. He has a very gentle and calming voice and talks honestly and empathically about rage issues and how to solve your rage.

Purpose Your Own Fury Sheets

You might not be capable to find sheets here or on the net to meet you requirements. It is even so easy to make you own fury worksheets. You just want a grassroots software package such as Microsoft Word or Excel, (or the free options: OpenOffice Calc or Writer).

A suggestion for anger management

How long could you last without one more breath? Not very long at all! Apologies to be offensive, but I desired to illustrate a point: Why do we accept this essential service for given and never give it a second thought?

Learning to breath profoundly can be welcome relief for a lot of fury, mental strain and esteem issues. It’s not that you have to breathe profoundly all of the time. Short deep respiration sessions once or twice a day can be a large help.

For a monolithic distress experience, sit or lie down in a place that is comfortable. Breath in slowly, and allow for the air to fill your lungs from the top side at the chest all the way to the bottom about the navel domain. Don’t be fearful to allow those lungs to fill, and it’s a adept sign if your stomach comes out!

Anxiety attacks are excruciatingly frightening. But here’s the thing; they can’t harm you. I will repeat that because it’s so important: Anxiety attacks can’t harm you. If you take just one thing from my article, then take that. Because this is your crucial first step in how to cure anxiety attacks.

This first step is the foundation on which to treat anxiety / panic attacks naturally, without medications with their nasty side effects. But in order to truly believe that anxiety attacks cannot cause you any harm, you need to understand what causes them in the first place…

The anxiety attack symptoms that you suffer; tightness in chest, shortness of breath, racing heartbeat, tingling extremities, hot / cold flashes, trembling, nausea, dizziness, a feeling that you’re detached from reality and a feeling of some impending doom, etc., are caused by your body’s own defense mechanism kicking-in…

This is called the body’s ‘fight or flight’ response, which is a very good description of the value that this in-built mechanism has for your safety. And it works something like this…

Your ‘sixth sense’ suddenly alerts you to something that may be dangerous. So an ‘anxiety’ signal triggers the brain into setting off a series of chemical reactions. These do things like diverting more blood to the muscles, improving vision, raising heartbeat, and so on.

All this is to help set up your body and mind to be faster, stronger and more alert, i.e. to give you the best chance possible of fighting for your life, or, running away to safety.

Okay, but when you have had your anxiety attacks in the past, there weren’t any physical dangers present, right? So, where does your brain get the idea that you’re in potential danger?

Well, your underlying general anxiety is already higher than normal, so all it takes is for you to suffer some stressful event, such as being stuck in rush-hour traffic, to push your overall anxiety levels over-the-top, so that your brain perceives this as you being in danger, and consequently triggers its fight or flight response.

It is as simple as that. Your brain has mistaken your suddenly raised anxiety levels as the signal that you are in danger. It wants to do everything it can to protect you, so doesn’t take any chances at all, and triggers its defense mechanism. So you suffer the terrifying symptoms of an anxiety attack.

And this is the second step in how to cure anxiety attacks; knowing what causes them. So know you know why they occur, and, that they cannot harm you. If you didn’t know these facts before, you’re already in a much stronger position to cure your anxiety attacks naturally, without medication.

To just hammer home the point, try this for me please; try to force yourself to have an anxiety / panic attack. Go on, try as hard as you can. Try again. And again. Do you get the picture now? It is impossible to make yourself have an attack.

So how does this help you? Simple. You’ve just shown that by accepting panic attacks for what they are, and, meeting them head on with a positive attitude, you can defeat them. Of course, you need more than I can explain in the time available here to take this further. And the first thing is to use what you’ve learned so far to help you breakout of your ‘cycle of anxiety.’

More often than not I hear people tell me or ask me what anxiety is. Even more so, people usually tells me some pretty odd stories of how the have suffered, not one but several panic or anxiety attacks in private or worse, in public places such as the bus stop, at work, meetings, and many more. So what is it anyway? An panic attack is when a person is in this state of anxiety, pretty straight forward.

Anxiety attacks are commonly cause by stress or fear. The stress or fear caused by the uncertainty of a particular situation one may be going through. During these moments, anxious thoughts overtake the person, and therefore resulting in an panic attack. Now, how does one go about controlling getting rid of anxiety attack? That is the mistake that a lot of people make. Do not try and get rid of an anxiety attack because you cannot. But you can however, control it. No anxiety attack treatment of any kind can get rid of anxiety or a panic attack.

When you get in this state of consciousness, the first thing you want to do is acknowledge that you are having a panic attack and that it is completely normal. The next step is to relax, and know that it is only temporary. Where there is resistance, there is persistence. Do not resist. But allow, acknowledge and go on about your day. If you are the type of person that constantly fights it, it may lead to an anxiety disorder because the more you resist, the more and more you will keep having such attacks. Trust me, you do not want your body to be in state of panic under any circumstance. Always remain calm and collected.

This subject is a very long and contains a lot of details, which unfortunately I cannot fit everything into this little article. I hope this article has helped you, and wish you all the very best to you and your family.

They say a week is a long time in politics. In the world of celebrities, ten minutes can seem like a lifetime. Just a few moments before 2 a.m. a few mornings ago, Tiger Woods was one of the most bankable smiles in the world. If he took your money to tie his name to your product, you were guaranteed people would remember your brand. A few minutes after 2 a.m. a few mornings ago, the smile lost its natural feel and became something forced out through stressed lips. The record shows none of the TV adverts featuring the Tiger have aired since that fateful morning. He has disappeared from screens around the world except for all the gossip coverage. Now, whenever anyone thinks about Tiger, they are speculating on just what transgressions or sins he is guilty of.

It’s remarkable how a simple traffic accident can have such a dramatic set of consequences. Here’s the ultimate slow-motion collision between an SUV and a tree just outside Tiger’s residence. He’s up early in the morning and leaving home without his shoes, sitting at the wheel in just a pair of socks. He only manages to keep the vehicle under control for a few yards. Informed observers report him asleep on the sidewalk after the accident. That’s why the police tried to get a sample of his blood, suspecting him to be driving under the influence of painkillers, sleeping pills or some other mind-altering drugs. They felt there was sufficient evidence of disorientation and confusion to justify a subpoena. In the end, it came to nothing and the only charge is a technical driving offense. But the suspicion was there for all to see, not helped by Tiger’s repeated refusal to speak to the police. This is the arrogance of the man who thinks he can crash his SUV and not have to explain or justify what he was doing. But then there were the other stories about his mistresses and we all wondered whether an outraged Mrs Woods had attacked the Tiger with golf clubs.

And now a word from our own sponsors. As a site devoted to the promotion and sale of ambien we are pleased to welcome Tiger to our stable of celebrity users. With considerable delight, we turn to the latest stories. Normally, the talk about sleeping pills is rather boring. They run along the lines, “Take one and you fall asleep”. But, thanks to Rachel Uchitel, one of the alleged mistresses, she and the Tiger took ambien for the crazy sex. We confess to having no idea this drug was an aphrodisiac. But Rachel is clear on its red hot properties. You get into that haze and the sex just gets crazier, she explains. Pausing for a moment, this could be a reference to the struggle to stay awake long enough to complete the sex before falling asleep. It all seems somewhat perverse. Take a pill to fall asleep and then struggle to stay awake. Obviously the sex is not exhausting and tiring enough to help the couple fall asleep, so they get the sex and the falling asleep over in one crazy minute or so. Forget gatorade! Buy ambien! says the Tiger.

Many people are not aware that in the last few years doctors have begun diagnosing bipolar disorder as two different types, based on how the moods cycle in the patient. Bipolar disorder type 1, also known as raging bipolar disorder, is diagnosed when the patient has at least one manic episode lasting at least one week or longer. Bipolar disorder type two, also known as rapid cycling bipolar disorder, is diagnosed when the patient has at least one manic episode and one depressive episode within four days to one week.

Hypomania is a severe form of mania that typically occurs in bipolar disorder type 1 patients. This state occurs because the patient is almost constantly up; the normal state for the patient is 1 of mania. Therefore, mood cycling in bipolar disorder type 1 patients often involves mania combined with the mood change. Mania combined with mania creates hypomania. Hypomania also can be accompanied by psychotic symptoms such as the patient becoming delusional or having hallucinations. This is a very simplistic way to describe how hypomania and mixed episodes occur.

Mixed episodes also often occur with bipolar disorder type 1. A mixed episode is hard to explain to the general public. It consists of being both happy and sad, up and down, all at the same time. Generally, this translates into the patient being very depressed emotionally, but displaying symptoms of mania such as inability to concentrate and lack of sleep.

Bipolar disorder type 1 is the most common type of bipolar disorder, and the most treatable. Because bipolar disorder type 1 typically manifests itself in the form of long manic periods with possibly one or two short depressive periods each year, treatment options are much more simple. Since mania requires one type of medication and depression requires another type of medication, the ability to treat only mania makes finding effective medications a much simpler task. Mood stabilizers are also quite effective with type 1 bipolar disorder, without the use of mania or depression medications.

The symptoms that the bipolar disorder type 1 patient experiences determines the type of mania medication used to control the excessive moods. In cases of mild but constant mania, lithium is the drug of choice. However, in cases in which mixed mania or hypomania are consistently present, a stronger drug or anti-psychotic, such as Depakote, is typically prescribed.

Bipolar type 1 is also the likeliest candidate for treatment via Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). This is because the patient is most often in a state that allows them to easily focus their mind on rationalizing situations, recognizing triggers, and suppressing severe episodes. However, when the patient displays symptoms of hypomania, as some bipolar type 1 patients often do, cognitive behavioral therapy is not as effective during these episodes.

Overall, bipolar disorder type 1 is easily controlled through appropriate treatment and medications. If you experience any symptoms of bipolar disorder type 1 you should contact your doctor to make arrangements for diagnostic testing and to discuss treatment options. Ultimately, the patient is responsible for their own illness, and therefore, their own treatment.

Bipolar disorder, or manic depression, is a serious mental illness that has eluded doctors for decades. For many years, bipolar disorder patients were diagnosed as psychotic or Schitsophrinia. However, about twenty years ago, manic depression became a more common diagnosis. Psychiatric specialists still, however, did not really understand the illness.

Over time, more psychiatric evidence has come to light that proves that bipolar disorder, as it is now called, is actually caused by chemical imbalances in the brain. Other factors, both medical and situational, can be involved as well. In the last few years, psychiatric specialists and researchers have determined that bipolar disorder actually has varying degrees of severity, as well as types of symptoms.

Studies of bipolar patients conducted by psychiatric professionals and researchers has long suggested that bipolar disorder runs in families, or, in other words, is hereditary. Through careful study and research of the functions of the brain, it has now been determined how this illness is indeed hereditary and biological in nature.

According to research posted in the American Journal of Psychiatry in 2000, patients with bipolar disorder actually have thirty percent more brain cells of a certain class that have to do with sending signals within the brain. These additional brain cells cause patients’ brains to actually behave differently, making them predisposed to have periods of mania or depression.

According to researchers, this type of brain cell regulates moods, how someone responds to stress, and cognitive functions. When the extra brain cells are present, a congestion of cells regulated one type of mood or cognitive function is overloaded, and therefore causes a bout of mania or depression. It is not yet known by psychiatric researchers, however, why patients with bipolar disorder have these additional brain cells. To discover this, more genetic research will be required.

In addition to brain cells and brain chemistry, it has also been speculated by psychiatric researchers that various genes in the genetic makeup of bipolar patients can also contribute to the cause of and hereditary nature of bipolar disorder. Studies have been ongoing experimenting with removal of the gene in mice. The evidence suggests that circadian genes, which regulate mood, hormones, blood pressure, and heart activity may be linked to bipolar disorder. Specifically, the absence or abnormality of the gene actually seems to bring about mania episodes.

All in all, more research needs to be done. Medical and psychiatric researchers and doctors have a lot more to learn about the brain and how it functions. While current treatments seem to work for bipolar disorder, they also have severe side effects. Often, medications prescribed for bipolar disorder have to be monitored, dosages modified, or medications switched entirely for patients to maintain balance. The more we learn about the brain and it’s functions, the more we can learn about the physical, biological causes of bipolar disorder. The more we learn about the causes of bipolar disorder, the more likely it will become that effective treatments can be found that offer little side effects and more permanent treatment options for bipolar patients.

- Are you worn out from the fight against depression?

- Are your episodes of depression deep and prolonged, and keep coming back?

- Do you feel like you’ve tried everything? Feel like all options have been exhausted?

You are not alone. There is hope.

Did you know that the reason you may not be able to get rid of your depression, is because its true cause has not been diagnosed and treated? It is possible that a physical or biochemical reason for your depression has been overlooked.

The most common biochemical imbalances leading to depression include:

- Mineral, vitamin or essential fatty acid deficiencies

- Toxic overload

- Food allergies, food sensitivities and other adverse reactions to food

- Hormonal deficiencies

The sad thing is that most of the time, these deficiencies or irregularities are not ruled out in most depression sufferers. Many people are only offered antidepressant medications which don’t treat the underlying physical problem. In other situations, they’re offered counseling which again doesn’t fix the cause of the depression.

Many of the biochemical imbalances that lead to depression can be easily diagnosed by a laboratory test through your doctor. In many cases one supplement or one hormonal medication, that specifically corrects the underlying physical problem, can resolve the depression too.

The key to treating your depression effectively, and beating it once and for all, is to find out the cause of your depression.

- One person with depression may have a nutrient deficiency because of poor digestion or diet. The nutrient deficiency may be causing the depression because it means that the brain cannot make its chemicals (neurotransmitters) properly.

- Another depression sufferer may have been exposed to a toxin through their job or hobby. Toxins can block the normal communication between brain cells, and can lead to ‘abnormal’ signals in the brain and therefore depression.

- Still another person may have a food allergy or sensitivity which turns on the immune system. The immune system can ‘attack’ the brain, so that the brain cannot function properly, and depression is experienced.

- Other people go through depression because of five different hormonal deficiencies. Women often suffer from depression during the 10 years prior to menopause, because of the changes of hormone levels in their bodies. Hormones are known to help with energy levels, memory and mood.

To find out what biochemical imbalances may be causing your depression visit http://www.breakingfreefromdepression.com and download your free depression report.

Manic depression is related with high mood swings from an overly high to an overly low or the depressed state. It is medically termed as bipolar disorder which identifies the mood swings of a person. They tend to be hyper active and grandiose at times. They have a mixed state where the symptoms of bipolar disorder and depression occur at the same time.

The mood swings occur in cycles. It is during this interval, people are able to do their works properly and lead a normal life.

manic depression can affect the personal relationships in family and results in a chaos. It can make the individuals to lose money, job, confidence and all that they have in life.

Extreme conditions of manic depression might lead to unacceptable aggressive behavior. The near and dear ones might find it extremely difficult to cope up with the problems.

When it persists, this might become a life threatening problem. It can very well kindle the thoughts of suicidal attempts and also to acts of homicide in rare cases.

They try to become drug addicts to escape from the ill effects from mania which is highly dangerous.
This problem might start at the late teen age and should be treated earlier. There are various effective treatment methods available in most of the leading rehabilitation centers. Any disease is curable when treated with effective medication and care.

Suffering from a panic disorder is a very difficult experience to go through but those of you who are suffering from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder are unfortunately often in a much worse position.

Indeed, developing an OCD panic attack can literally make you feel like you are dying. The experience is so frightening that some have even reported feeling like their heart exploding.

Of course those who already suffer from panic attacks can identify with these symptoms but if you have been diagnosed with an Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, you must understand that the condition is much more severe and as a result much more difficult to treat. This is the unfortunate truth and the best tip I can give you right now is to seek help and an appropriate treatment in order to free yourself from these painful conditions.

Panic attacks may cause somebody to become obsessive compulsive. This means that they are constantly thinking and worrying about little things, which are in fact not very important.

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder sufferers usually tend to check on the things around them in order to prevent a panic attack. Now, this is unfortunately the worst thing to do because this behaviour will ultimately lead to much more severe generalized anxiety attacks.

You may have heard that treatments options for those who suffer from such disorders are in fact quite limited and medication remains the most common form of treatment to reduce and regulate the symptoms.

However, more and more people are now turning to natural treatments to get rid of these difficult conditions. The success rates are in fact quite phenomenal.

These treatments focus on finding the root cause of the issue instead of merely covering up the symptoms. What happens is that you isolate the causes that trigger the attack and train the brain to make the difference between reality and fiction.

Did you know that panic attacks which lead to Obsessive Compulsive Disorders are made up inside people’s head?

Once a scenario is stored up you must simply remove it to get your brain to understand that nothing is actually happening outside and that there is no reason for you to go into a panic mode.

OCD panic attacks will disappear if the root cause of the issue is treated instead of the symptoms. Do not fall victim to these disorders when they are totally avoidable. If followed correctly, the natural cures can get you back on your feet in a record time without having to resort to expensive and potentially dangerous medication.

It is important to bust out depression rather than keeping it for long. It gives pleasure in doing it. However, one has to undergo painful moments before he could completely relieve from the effects of depression. I have listed some tips to bust depression without drugs.

•	Drugs are not always the best way to treat depression. Milk can do wonders if you take it in regular intervals. It is rich in tryptophan which is a mood-booster. It will help in increasing the serotonin level and it is recommended to drink 8 ounce of whole milk per day which will produce 0.6gms of tryptophan. Yogurt, eggs, cheese, bananas are also good sources.

•	Chasing away your bliss is the next best thing to be done. Experts argue that people who ran regularly were 70% less likely to experience the effects of depression. Regular exercises increase the adrenalin activity that in turn encourages the level of serotonin released. It also helps in preventing from getting any kind of cardio vascular problems.

•	Listening to music is what most psycotherapist recommend. Studies reveal that listening to music for an hour a day would reduce the symptoms to a greater extent. Music can do wonders in treating depression. Listen to music that you love and songs that are close to your heart. It helps you in getting inner satisfaction by which you remain calm and composed.

•	Plan your holiday activities regularly with your near and loved ones. Spending your time with the people you like will fetch you some of the happiest moments of life.

•	Picture happiness elevates the mood level. A picture is worth thousand words and it brings the same effect when it comes to the treatment of depression. It brings backs the old memories
