i havent really looked into it but ever since i was little ive always been able to remember a sequence of numbers and see it in my head. especially when i have tests i close my eyes and picture my notes.
i dont know if everyone is like this. it how ive always been. but my mom says i have photographic memory?
is it an actual thing that you can have. Can you be dominant for photographic memory is what im asking.
Also can it be passed down in your family, because supposedly my uncle had it?

It is polygenetic meaning it can be both passed down genetically as well as learned and trained in to acquire.

Photographic memory is real. I don't know if it's genetic or not, but I'm giving you a wikipedia article so you can read for yourself.
I guess it could be considered a trait, but its not genetic.
It is a real thing and many people have it. Some can remember certain things they saw from so long ago very well. I on the other hand have really bad photographic memory.
