These three elements are relaxation techniques, yoga positions and breathing. It sounds simple however some of the yoga positioning and techniques can be difficult to master and are often complicated. There are some steps however that you can take to make the entire process easier.
The Six Step Kundalini Meditation
Meditation techniques can generally be broken down into several steps that are easy to remember and simple to do. It is best to practice in a quiet area that will allow you to concentrate and help you to carry out the meditation with a greater chance of success.
The first step is to understand the energy, how it affects the body and the benefits gained from using it. Without this awareness your meditation will be less effective..
When working with Kundalini energy it is important, you prepare your body. Kundalini energy is not delicate. The activation of this type of energy in the body often results in a heavy and sudden burst of energy both healing and spiritual. You need to be prepared in order to be able to work with this.
The second step is to make sure you maintain an excellent meditative posture. The lotus position or a cross-legged position is most often used and is ideal for helping to ensure the right posture. However you can sit on a chair or kneel as long as your back is kept straight.
The third step of six involves breathing. While sitting in the correct position, close your eyes and then block your nose so you can only breathe from the right nostril. Take a deep breath and focus on feeling the life force moving through your body while you hold the breath. Release and switch to the other nostril.
The fourth step involves visualization. It is important to note there is a chakra point at the base of the spine, which needs to be stimulated by the Kundalini energy. To help release it, visualize this chakra and the energy.
The next to last step is to expand on the visualization and bring a stream of pure white light down towards the heart chakra also known as the God Center from the Crown Chakra located at the top of the head. This energy should fill up the heart chakra. Bring a similar stream of light from the root chakra and bring that energy up to meet the energy drawn from the crown chakra.
Finally, experience the energy. Allow your body to become used to it and take some time to relax. This particular technique for Kundalini meditation is relatively easy and with a little practice, you can become an expert.
Each time you practice, this meditation technique, consider the life force flowing through you and each one of your chakras energizing every part of your mind, body and spirit.
