I had a very a delightful lunch and enjoyed exchanging some pleasant conversation with the waitress. It seemed quite different from the feeling David showed me. From entering the canteen, waiting for the mail, till biting what was served, he looked like he had been sucking on sour pickles all morning. He was hunched over and tensed. If I was not at the same place as he was, he might have shouted at the service and the meal for illogical reasons.
Positive change hypnosis made why David and me have such different experiences at the canteen. We were as a matter of fact given exactly the same qualified thing. The difference lies on the way how David and I managed our attitudes. It comes down to this: I saw the reality at that canteen with a positive attitude. While David saw the world with a negative one.
Attitude functions as the mental filter through which a mankind experiences the world. Some people see the world through the filter of optimism (the problem being half easy) while others see life through a filter of pessimism (the problem being half difficult).
Positive change hypnosis teaches me how to manage my mental filter so that I am capable of having such positive attitude. Remember that facts everyone finds mean the same thing, however they become different for they are differently sensed and interpreted. It totally depends on the preference of the individual in seeing the world.
