The Importance of Developing Your Memory

There used to be a genre in book stores known as self-help. I say “used to be” because as of late, this genre has become less about helping or improving yourself, and more about being content with the way you are. I am not saying you should grow to love things about yourself you are unable to change, but you should also identify what it is you do want to change, and do something about it. I used to have a terrible memory. I knew it, I did not particularly like it, so I decided to change it.

There are many benefits to improving your memory recall abilities. No matter what your job is, you will improve your performance there. Having the ability to recall more of what you see and read and hear will make you a valuable part of any working team. If you are in the business of sales, there is no way around it, you absolutely must make memory training a priority. The ability to recall names and faces, as well as information relating to those names and faces, has as many applications in sales as you have prospects. Maybe you even have more prospects than you think, you just can’t remember them all.

I stumbled upon something that was able to improve my ability to remember important information. My wife doesn’t get upset at me because I forget to do things she asked, I do not forget faces and names, and I can recall figures pertaining to my work that people easily forget. When I decided to go back to school, I had a leg up on the competition because I decided to do something about my memory.

If you want to do the same, follow this link http://www.joshuanoerr.com/recommendations.html. Find the link to improve your memory, and stop forgetting things you need to remember. You should do this now so you don’t forget.
