The Place of Intelligence

The place of intelligence is such a reserved one that cannot be substituted for anything by any means. This is because it would not just work that way; the reason being that the place of intelligence is a clear case of a round peg that must always fit into a round hole! Intelligence is very crucial to individual orientations which eventually determine the societal inclinations. To become relevant in the society, it requires an extent of intelligence. What is intelligence? Why is its place so important in a conscious society?

Intelligence is the ability of someone to effectively proffer the right solutions to situations in timely fashion. It must be underlined above that it is not only about finding solutions that matters here. What is really important is whether such solution is timely or not; this is because a solution that is belated may not really make any difference. The important yardstick for measuring the degree of success is the intelligence involved in such process. I will also explain intelligence as the proven commonsense. A commonsense that has been verified and found dependable is the intelligence. The place of intelligence cannot really be over emphasized as regards its occupants.

It is a sound fact that it is not meant for nitwits, or nincompoops. Today in our society, there is a lot of misplacements in this respect; these misplacements have gone a long way to pervert the mentality of all and sundry such that we all seem to engage the reverse gear in our thinking. Politically today, the place of intelligence has been swapped with foolishness and stupidity that is nursed in greed. This you will agree with me is the reason most countries especially developing ones constantly battle with complications. The leaders in these countries have failed to honour the place of intelligence, most especially in the process of choosing a substantial head to oversee the government business; which is the main reason they will be plagued with the worst of political quagmires. You see, the place of intelligence is that of peace, fulfillment of purpose and self actualization. It is however a very sorry case today that all these no longer true. The place of intelligence is lost in our homes, and that is why most husbands are mere paper tiger; they cannot properly control their homes, especially their children. These eventually grow up as processed thugs. The society must therefore retrace its steps back in order to right these wrongs.
