What is the Best Form of B-12 to Improve Energy and Working Memory? a B-12 Shot?

I was wondering if I should get a B-12 shot? When do you know whether to get a B-12 shot rather than a supplement?

Suggestion:

There's a complex called Feroglobin that would help, you take it every day. Otherwise, taking a small amount daily is going to be better than a one off shot full of it, which I'm pretty sure doesn't actually exsist… not where I live anyways!
Just get a high concentrate of the vitamin B complex, or look up a particular one that would benefit you the most and get a higher concentration of that?
I take B12 because I'm anemic and generally need an energy pick me up, Feroglobin does me fine.
If you "needed" a B12 shot, a doctor would do bloodtests and then would tell you you needed that shot, if there is one. O-o
